Culture needs evidence

Company culture content works when it lets a candidate observe the organization instead of asking them to accept a claim. A LinkedIn survey of more than 14,000 professionals found that candidates most wanted to learn about culture through an office visit, a hiring manager and current employees. More than half said the company website was their first stop when applying.

The formats that reveal the workplace

Job posts that mentioned well-being, flexibility or culture saw materially stronger growth in views and applications in LinkedIn’s analysis. That does not prove that adding those words creates demand. It shows that candidates pay attention to the conditions and character of work.

One film is not an employer brand

A recruitment film can be an anchor. The employer brand becomes credible when the same reality appears across the careers page, recruiter outreach, social media, role-specific landing pages and candidate conversations. Capture a library during each production day: hero interviews, short employee answers, workplace b-roll, still frames and vertical edits.

Measure candidate quality, not vanity

Careers-page engagementScroll depth, time on page and movement to open roles.
Qualified applicationsApplications that meet the role criteria, not the raw total.
Content-assisted hiresAsk candidates what helped them understand the company.
Employee participationA healthy system makes it easier for real employees to contribute.

Historical LinkedIn platform data connected stronger talent brands with lower hiring costs, faster hiring and more applicants. Treat those figures as directional, not a guarantee. Your own funnel should establish the baseline.

Let candidates see the company before the interview.
